A Bit About Me
In the fall of 2017, I was a part time employee at the EMSB and a full-time student. I was studying to become an electrician. However, I stopped my education as a electrician student due to an injury I had at the school. I had a long period of physiotherapy. I returned to working full time at the EMSB as a caretaker. Unfortunately, during this time period both my parents were diagnosed with cancer. I had to help both of them during their treatments. I started to experience depression and loneliness. I sought therapy, started volunteering, and took an art class at Dawson. I decided to enroll part-time at Dawson College in Studio Arts and volunteer in CLL ( Campus Life Leadership) to meet new people. Entering Studio Art was a great decision. Two years with my classmates has helped me develop confidence in both myself and artistic talents. I have learned the therapeutic value of the arts and am interested in either becoming an art teacher or an art therapist.

August 2021- December 2021
January 2022 - Present
I worked at the EMSB for summer cleaning. The school board loved my personality and loved that I am a hard working employee so they hired me as a full time pool staff.
I continued working at the school board full time but also applied to Continuing Education at Dawson College. I was also volunteering 60 hours with CLL( Campus Life Leadership).
I am now working part time at the EMSB and studying Studio Arts full time. I am Volunteering 60 hours per semester with CLL ( Campus Life Leadership).
